Your initial visit typically lasts about 30 minutes and includes a thorough examination and discussion of your treatment options. We may also reserve time for diagnostic records—including photographs, X-rays, and impressions used to develop your personalized treatment plan. The records appointment takes about one hour.
This is a good time to ask what orthodontics can address, which treatment may be appropriate, whether treatment should begin now or later, whether teeth may need to be removed, how long treatment may take, and what the cost and payment options may be.
After reviewing your diagnostic records, we will discuss treatment recommendations, timing, and financial arrangements. Please bring any panoramic X-rays taken within the previous six months and your orthodontic insurance card, if applicable.
